The Lottery Office Donate Jersey Space to Canteen Cancer Charity
The Lottery Office, principal partner the Gold Coast Titans, shone spotlight on Youth Cancer Awareness Month, with a special focus on Canteen during their Round 7 match against the New Zealand Warriors in Go Media Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand.
A Jersey with a Purpose
As part of the initiative, the Titans wore a one-off jersey dedicated to raising awareness of Canteen’s work. The charity supports young people and their families right across Australia affected by cancer through free, personalised programs designed to help them cope with diagnosis, treatment, and life afterward.

Using Sport to Drive Impact
Backed by The Lottery Office, the campaign highlights how sport can be used as a platform to spark awareness and drive positive impact across the community.
This opportunity builds on an ongoing partnership between the three organisations. In June last year, they joined forces at Cbus Super Stadium to set a record for the largest number of people wearing bandannas simultaneously in an effort to draw attention to the support Canteen provides to young people facing cancer.
Amplifying Awareness on a Bigger Stage
The Lottery Office CEO Jaclyn Wood said the collaboration offers a valuable opportunity to extend Canteen’s reach to a broader audience.
“We’re proud to be working alongside the Gold Coast Titans and Canteen to bring this to life,” she said.
“Canteen delivers essential support to young people navigating incredibly difficult circumstances. Initiatives like this help raise awareness and remind those affected that they’re not alone.
“Using rugby league as a platform to champion such an important cause is something we care deeply about, and we’re looking forward to seeing Canteen featured prominently on the Titans jersey in New Zealand.”
Supporting Communities Through the Charity Fund
Beyond partnerships like this, The Lottery Office continues to give back through its Charity Fund, donating to a wide range of not-for-profit organisations across Australia helping more Australians get the support they need, when they need it most.
