Play Online Lottery with The Lottery Office App Online
All winners with The Lottery Office can remain anonymous, unlike winners from some international lotteries, who are required by law to publicly reveal their identities. Nobody needs to know if you take out a life-changing prize when you buy lotto tickets online with us.
All of our online lotteries are free from Australian taxes, so you don’t have to worry about losing anything to the Aussie tax man (although the USA Power Lotto, USA Mega Lotto, La Primitiva and Italian Super Jackpot may be subject to overseas taxes).
The free Lottery Office app offers a convenient way to play at any time and place that suits you. There is an app for Android tablet and phone devices and for your iOS device.
Our Lottery Tickets Give you Access to Unique Lotteries Online
The Lottery Office has a unique business model that we’ve developed to give Australians the chance to win from the draws of overseas lottery jackpots that can reach hundreds of millions, or in the case of the USA lotteries, billions! When you play lotto online in one of our licensed Australian lotteries, our international agents buy a matching ticket with the same game numbers in the equivalent overseas lottery draw.
If the overseas lottery ticket wins any prizes, we collect them and then pay you exactly the same amount. This gives you the chance to legally win from the draws of exciting lotteries online that Aussies can’t normally access when they play lotto online.
Our exclusive lotteries and their matching overseas lotteries are:
Win from the draws of US Powerball with our USA Power Lotto
The US Powerball jackpot is well known for holding the world record for the world’s largest ever national lottery jackpot, at AUD$2.3 billion. It was shared by 3 players, who took home hundreds of millions each. As well as its record all-time jackpot, the US Powerball also has a huge minimum jackpot of AUD$25 million and has reached hundreds of millions countless times.
No traditional Australian lottery comes close to having prizes like these. Even the huge 2nd division prize is at AUD$1.3 million each draw. Players also have the option of using the Multiplier, which can multiply non-jackpot wins by up to 10 times. This could turn a regular 3rd division prize of AUD$70,000 into AUD$700,000!
There are 2 draws each week, on Thursdays and Sundays AEST. When you buy a lottery ticket online in our USA Power Lotto, we buy a matching ticket in a US Powerball draw, using the same numbers. If there are any winnings on the US Powerball ticket, we pay you exactly the same amount that we collect.
A lucky Lottery Office player experienced this herself when she won AUD$42,600 in our USA Power Lotto. We collected the prize from the US Powerball and paid her the same prize value.
Win from the draws of US Mega Millions with our USA Mega Lotto
The US Mega Millions is another world record holder. It holds the title for the world’s largest ever single ticket win, with a solitary winner taking an AUD$2.2 billion prize. Like the US Powerball, it has a minimum jackpot of AUD$25 million and it often reaches hundreds of millions of dollars.
It also has its own version of the Multiplier feature, multiplying non-jackpot wins by up to 5 times. This means that a 2nd division prize (which is normally a huge AUD$1.3 million) could fetch up to AUD$6.5 million, which is astounding for a 2nd division win.
There are 2 draws each week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays AEST. When you buy a ticket in our USA Mega Lotto, we buy a matching ticket in a US Mega Millions draw, using the same numbers. If there are any winnings on the US Mega Millions ticket, we pay you exactly the same amount that we collect. Just like the Sydney player who was one number away from winning AUD$500 million, in the USA Mega Lotto (matched with the US Mega Millions) with The Lottery Office.
Win from the draws of EuroMillions with our European Millions
EuroMillions is an exceptionally popular lottery available in the UK, France, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland. It has an AUD$27 million minimum first prize jackpot and offers an exceptional 13 prize divisions, giving players more chances to win a prize than most other lotteries.
It has an unusual feature called the ‘EuroMillions jackpot cap’ which limits the maximum prize to AUD$355 million (until recently, the EuroMillions jackpot cap was AUD$340 million, which was won in October, 2020). You’d be forgiven for thinking that limiting the jackpot is a disadvantage, but it’s actually an excellent opportunity. This is because once the cap has been reached and has not been won after 5 draws, it must be won!
The prize then goes to the highest division that has a winner, meaning a division 2 or even division 3 win could net the entire AUD$355 million! No other lottery can potentially offer a prize anywhere near this for a division 2 win.
As an extra sweetener, in must-be-won draws, any money that would normally go towards increasing the jackpot, will instead be funnelled into the lower divisions. For example, in a recent must be won draw, the 2nd division prize averaged AUD$540,000 in the 5 draws before the jackpot cap had kicked in. After the cap was in place, in the next 5 draws it averaged AUD$6.4 million!
The jackpot cap will eventually be extended to AUD$390 million, but for now AUD$355 million will have to do. The EuroMillions also has roughly three Superdraws (sometimes called ‘Megadraws’) each year. These instantly take the jackpot up to a minimum of AUD$200 million, and it will increase from there until it’s won.
All EuroMillions prizes are tax-free. There are 2 draws each week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays AEST. When you buy lotto tickets online in our European Millions Lotto, we buy a matching ticket in a EuroMillions draw, using the same numbers. If there are any winnings on the EuroMillions ticket, we pay you exactly the same amount that we collect.
Win from the draws of SuperEnalotto with our Italian Super Jackpot
Until recently, the SuperEnalotto held the title for Europe’s highest ever jackpot at AUD$330 million (which has since been eclipsed by the EuroMillions). With no jackpot cap in place, there’s no limit to how high the jackpot from these lottery tickets can climb.
The minimum jackpot officially starts at AUD$3 million, however in reality it’s often much higher than that, and 9 figure main prizes are a regular even
As an added bonus, with each ticket, a free extra Instant Win game is included. 4 random numbers are automatically assigned to each ticket. If all 4 of these numbers are found in any of the games on your ticket, you receive an instant prize. Each ticket can have up to 5 games on it, and by filling up a ticket, you maximise your chances of winning an Instant Win prize. Tickets in our matching Italian Super Jackpot are some of our most affordable, at $4.75.
There are 3 draws each week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays AEST. When you buy a ticket in our Italian Super Jackpot Lotto, we buy a matching ticket in a SuperEnalotto draw, using the same numbers. If there are any winnings on the SuperEnalotto ticket, we pay you exactly the same amount that we collect.
Win from the draws of Eurojackpot with our European Jackpot
The Eurojackpot has something for everyone, with great jackpots (starting at AUD$15 million and reaching AUD$175 million), huge lower division prizes, 12 prize divisions and chances of winning that are favourable compared to many other international lotteries.
This lottery is for sale in the European countries that the EuroMillions can’t be bought in. These are Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Norway, Latvia, Denmark, Poland, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Germany, Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and Spain (only Spain sells both EuroMillions and Eurojackpot).
The Eurojackpot’s maximum prize is huge but still lower than you'd expect to see for a major international lottery. This is so that the lower divisions can be much larger than you’d normally find in a lottery. It’s normal to see 2nd division prizes worth over AUD$2 million and even 3rd prizes over AUD$350,000!
There are 2 draws each week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays AEST. When you buy a ticket in our European Jackpot Lotto, we buy a matching ticket in a Eurojackpot draw, using the same numbers. If there are any winnings on the Eurojackpot ticket, we pay you exactly the same amount that we collect.
Win from the draws of the Spanish La Primitiva with our La Primitiva
Spanish La Primitiva is one of the world’s oldest active lotteries, and was first established back in 1763. It was put on hold in 1862 and was revived in 1985, and has been running ever since.
With an all-time jackpot high of AUD$160 million, this lottery is not to be taken lightly. It’s also very affordable, and The Lottery Office offers matching tickets from only $3.70.
It has a unique number system that allows players to win a prize just by matching one number. If you match the ‘Reintegro’ number from a pool of 0-9, you won’t leave empty handed. It also has a unique side game called The Joker that has 7 separate prize divisions and a main prize of AUD$1.6 million, giving players an extra chance to win. It costs an extra $3.70 per ticket to play The Joker, and each ticket can hold up to 8 games.
When you play The Joker, each ticket is automatically assigned a random 7 digit number. After the main Spanish La Primitiva draw, The Joker draw takes place, and aside from the main prize, there are also other great prizes up for grabs, including AUD$16,000.
There are 2 draws each week, on Fridays and Sundays AEST. When you buy a ticket in our Spanish La Primitiva Lotto, we buy a matching ticket in a La Primitiva draw, using the same numbers. If there are any winnings on the La Primitiva ticket, we pay you exactly the same amount that we collect.
Win from the draws of the UK National lottery with our UK Lotto
The UK National Lottery has a system that aims to see more people with lower division winnings take home bigger prizes.
There is a limit to how many times the jackpot can rollover. If it isn’t won by the 5th consecutive draw, the jackpot prize rolls down to the lower divisions and is shared amongst the winners to boost their prizes. This one isn’t so much for the mega jackpot hunters, but more for those who would prefer to punt on a lower, but easier to win prize. In saying that, the starting jackpot is still AUD$3 million and regularly reaches AUD$20 million.
There are 2 draws each week, on Thursdays and Sundays AEST. When you buy a ticket in our UK Lotto, we buy a matching ticket in a UK National Lottery draw, using the same numbers. If there are any winnings on the UK National Lottery ticket, we pay you exactly the same amount that we collect.
Win from the draws of the Irish National Lotto with our Irish Lotto
With a starting jackpot of AUD$3 million and an all-time highest prize of AUD$30 million, what the Irish Lotto lacks in size, it more than makes up for in how winnable it is in comparison to other lotteries. It has the greatest winning opportunity of all our matching lotteries and has a very juicy 2nd division prize.
There are 2 draws each week, on Thursdays and Sundays AEST. When you buy lotto tickets online in our Irish Lotto, we buy a matching ticket in a National Irish Lotto draw, using the same numbers. If there are any winnings on the National Irish Lotto ticket, we pay you exactly the same amount that we collect.

Which Online Lottery is the Best?
To play lotto online, it depends on what is meant by the ‘best’.
If it’s the highest starting jackpot, then the USA Power Lotto and USA Mega Lotto are the best, starting at AUD$25 million each. If you mean the highest mathematical chances of winning the jackpot, then our Irish Lotto wins. Or, if you mean the most affordable ticket prices, then our La Primitiva is the best, at only $3.70.
You could also consider the lotteries with the biggest ever jackpots to be the best. Again, the USA Power Lotto and USA Mega Lotto are the winners; they’ve both previously had jackpots worth over AUD$2 billion.
If you like the idea of a balanced lottery that performs well across the board, with great jackpots, reasonable ticket prices and reasonable winning opportunities for a lottery, then the European Jackpot is a great option.
