The Lottery Office is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of everyday Australians by supporting charities and community groups across the nation. We firmly believe that charity should begin at home, and as a team, we are committed to giving back to our local communities.
The Lottery Office donates a percentage of the cost of every ticket sold to charities across the country, allowing the organisation to impact the lives of everyday Australians (including Aussie animals) positively.
Each year, The Lottery Office Supports a range of charity initiatives and fundraising events. We have contributed more than AUD$1 million to Australian charities. Charities include supporting the Children’s Hospital Foundation, Volunteers For Palliative Care, So Brave Fund My Challenge, and many more.
“Volunteers for Palliative Care provide a highly valuable service by contributing their time to such a great cause and providing support to countless Australian families in their hour of need,” explains Jaclyn Wood.
“We believe that it is important to support the causes that are close to our hearts, and we are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.”
The Lottery Office has also contributed to several local community initiatives, including supporting the recent Ballina flood victims with a donation of AUD$5,000.
