The 2023 Circus Quirkus gives disadvantaged kids a great day out

The Circus Quirkus, presented by International Entertainment Australia, is an animal-free circus. It’s traditional in style but with modern twists.

On Saturday 9th July, the Broadwater Southport Rotary Club hosted the annual Circus Quirkus event.

Taking place at SOPO on the Gold Coast, local disadvantaged kids and those with additional needs enjoyed 2 full shows. Additionally, proceeds raised from the event went to the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation to provide vital, specialised medical equipment for the Children’s Critical Care Unit.

The Lottery Office is a regular sponsor of the event, and this year made a donation of $1,320 to enable 22 kids to attend.
