The Lottery Office Brings Joy and Life-Saving Support to Local Kids in Need
At The Lottery Office, we believe that winning should be more than just a moment—it should make a lasting difference. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to provide a donation that will sponsor 20 children to go to this year’s Circus Quirkus, a magical event that delivers joy to disadvantaged children and those living with disabilities and additional needs.
But our support doesn’t stop at putting smiles on faces—it also helps save lives.
Bringing Laughter to Those Who Need It Most
Circus Quirkus is a unique event that brings the fun of the circus directly to children who may be facing serious challenges. Whether it’s through breathtaking acrobatics, side-splitting comedy, or heartwarming performances, the show gives children a moment to forget their hardships and just enjoy being a kid.
Thanks to our donation, even more children will be able to experience the joy of Circus Quirkus this year—an experience they will never forget.
Life-Saving Support for Our Smallest Patients
In addition to bringing joy, we also donate to help to fund critical projects through the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, directly benefiting the Children’s Critical Care Unit at Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH).
Our ongoing support has already helped fund essential pieces of medical equipment, including:
- An examination chair for the Child Protection Unit, improving the comfort and care of vulnerable children.
- Airvo humidifiers, which provide emergency respiratory support to infants who are struggling to breathe.
- A Twin Can Med Bed, allowing premature twins to be safely cared for together after birth—an especially important tool as the number of premature twin births continues to rise.
The Foundation is now working to secure funding for a second Twin Can Med Bed to meet this growing need, and we’re proud that our support helps make this possible.
